Sideways (2004)

Starring: Paul Giamatti (“Pig Vomit” from Private Parts) as Miles, Thomas Haden Church (He was in the awful George of the Jungle Movies, both of them) as Jack

The most loved and at the same time hated movie of 2004, well at least from what I have seen, it is the story of two men who are entering into their mid life and how they spend a week before Jack’s impending marriage. Basically they go out and drink a lot of wine and in the process they learn to let people in (Miles) as well as to appreciate what they have (Jack). Oh and of course they meet some women along the way, in the form of the rejuvenated Virginia Madsen (Candy Man) and Sanda Oh (thankfully without Arliss).

I wish I would have seen this so much sooner, it was a very good movie with some great acting. My only problem is that after the movie I wanted to drown myself in really good wine and I can barely afford Boone’s. So go out and see this as this is movie theater good!
