A Sound of Thunder (2005)

I used to like Ed Burns, he was great in "Saving Private Ryan" and... well he made a whole bunch of movies that were exactly the same so let's say a few of those as well.
I used to like Ben Kingsley, 'searching for Bobby Fischer" is one of my favorite movies.

In the future big game hunting will be even better since we can travel through time and that means we can hunt for DINOSAURS! Sure we can't bring them home and mount their heads on our wall but our Halo disc will help us relive the thrill of our scripted hunt. too bad about the butterfly affect though, because now we are fucked!
That is basically what we have here, a group of time travelling "hunters" (basically a time travelling Jurrasic Park) go to kill a dinosaur, that will be killed by a volcano anyway , and screw up causing the world to change.

Poor acting, terrible sfx, brief nudity, stupid plot, building and cars that look like Lego models and it all adds up to a shitty movie that somehow made it into the theatre for about half the length of the movie. i suggest watching this one on cable, if only for the thrill of seeing how little 52 million can buy in Hollywood.
