Take your time, I have all night to sit in this parking lot!

15 minutes, it was supposed to take 15 minutes and then we could pick up our food at curbside to go. Just enough time to go get some wine, pick up our food and eat before our show. Unfortunately it was Applebee's, god damn Applebee's! We should have known better.

To be fair, our night did not start off on a good note as we actually watched as a liquor store closed while we were trying to park the car. Of course this was a good 2 hours and 15 minutes before it was scheduled to close but I was then told that this liquor store, next to a pitch black parking lot and across the street from some projects was having some problems with the people of the projects, so I was kind of happy we escaped certain doom and we went to another one.

After we hit another liquor store, which happened to be located in a shopping plaza that time forgot (they had a Fabco shoes for christ's sake) we went to Applebee's to get our food. It was about 20 minutes, we figured it would be a quick grab and go and we were dead wrong. After about 10 minutes (30 since initial order) we piad for the order and figured it would come out any minute now. 15 minutes after that (45 since initial order) the manager came out, apologized and said it would be 5 more minutes. The gf somehow let the manager go without any talk and I pointed that out to her and I was officially losing it.

So 10 minutes go by (55) and I have lost my shit so much to her protest I was out the door and ready to bring some justice to the situation since we had nearly waited an hour. So I got out of the car and went to go into the curbside to go door....and it was of course locked which caused a cackle of laughter from gf. It did not deter me though so I knocked on the door and waited to be let inside which the curbside girl was happy to do. I immediately went to the manager and I didn't even need to say a word, it was a sif she knew of my reputation and so she took 20% off of our bill.

 5 minutes later (a full hour people) I get the food and the money and return semi-triumphant as we head on home to see that her burger was a cheeseburger that was returned and overall it was a lackluster meal, so fuck you Applebee's for getting the last word but it will be the last time you ever see me!
