Linens and Things, you have made the list!

Wow, just reading that title makes me ashamed about what I am about to say here. I am a straight man who is boycotting Linens and Things, a store I probably go to way more than I should anyway and probably a store I shouldn't go to at all but still I need to boycot it after today's events.

I had to go to the very womanly store to exchange some sheets that I had bought the other day as I bought the wrong size. It should have been a quick in and out and it was a relatively quick process but during it I bought a 4.99 towel and that is where the trouble happened. How is buying a 4.99 towel a problem? Simple, sometimes an item costs 5 times as much as it is advertised!


Yes I spent 25 dollars on a 4.99 towel. I don't even know how it happened as I made sure to check the prices and when I came upon the 4.99 towel I wanted I just picked it up and went to check out. At check out I turned into the unfrozen caveman and I just didn't understand what was going on so I bought the 25 dollar towel and I didn't say a word.

Now what does a 25 dollar towel consist of? Well, itdoesn't give blow jobs as I had first hoped, it is not Towelie from South Park so I can't get high with it AND it doesn't dry me with micro driers that are woven into it. No, it is just a normal towel that dries you iin the standard way, hell I could get paper towels for 99 cents to do that for me.


Now I only hope that Linens and Things takes returns by giving cash back, I don't think I could live with store credit.
