Today's phone call of the day is a beauty as anything could from someone who has a gambling problem. Thankfuly he is not shy about it and just leaps right into what is on his mind.

Gambling Problem Guy (GPG): So I am thinking of getting a blackberry
Me: Ok, so what is the problem?
GPG: well I have a gambling problem and I want to know if I can download software that would allow me to gamble

Ok, if I had any doubt in my mind it would have been erased by the end of that sentence. This is a person who wants to gamble and is freely admitting that as soon as he get's his device he will be looking to gamble. At this point I say if you look there probably are ways to gamble but searching on the web via blackberry is painful so why even bother.

His only response, "how bad is it on Palm device?"

Sometimes I wonder why I pick up the phone.
