Am I wrong?

This weekend the woman and I traveled to luxurious Asbury Park so that I could take part in the Jersey Shore Marathon relay. Now if you haven't been to Asbury park you should know that it isn't exactly known as the nicest part of the Jersey Shore, which will never be considered a must see destination for travelers, but it has gotten to the point of acceptable during the day. Anyway, the race went well and it was a nice day so we decided to walk dow the boardwalk to see the shops and maybe grab some lunch, what could annoy anyone doing that? Could anyone get annoyed walkign a boardwalk on a beautiful spring day? Of course the answer is yes.

The last store front on the boardwalk is this nice looking Italian Restaurant. Actually it was shockingly nice considering my past memories of the area. We check the menu and the prices aren't too bad so we decide to walk in and then teh trouble begins. The hostess informs us that the outdoor dining area on the second floor will be a wait so we tell her we are fine eating inside and she tells us it will be a minute or so to get the table ready, so Trish goes to freshen up and I look at the menu but I already see trouble.The place is busy with other runners and othe rpeople who are enjoying the day but there are plenty of tables available so why would we have to wait?

Trish returns a few minutes later and we are still not sat when another couple comes in and they are given the same line about outside being a wait so they ask for dowstairs....and are sat immediately! Annoying but I let this slide thinking she will coem back and seat us. No luck, she comes back and talks with another hostess when ANOTHER COUPLE WALK IN AND ARE SAT IMMEDIATELY!!!! Now I am pissed, the hostess comes back and contnues to talk with the other one when Trish, knowing I am on the verge of killing a hostess, asks if we would be seated soon and the girl acts as if she has forgotten about us.

What the fuck? Is this asbury park whore actually thinking that she is better than us? Does she not realize that she is a hostess in ASBURY PARK? if I hadn't mellowed out so much I would have made a huge scene instead like a pussy I replied to the waiters question of how we were doing with "could be better...your hostesses suck".

Now I ask, am I wrong? Could she have just forgotten us or was she just a stuck up bitch?

P.S. I used the toilet and someone had shit on the bowl, so really how stuck up can you be when you work at a place where people shit on the bowl?
